Meeting held at the Harwich Community Center

This month’s book is Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverini.  It is the story of a black slave who sews her way to freedom, becomes Mrs. Lincoln's favorite dressmaker and eventually is able to open 2 shops.  A historical novel that should appeal to anyone who enjoys a good story.
